On 6th November, the "Connected | 1000 years of interactions of a necropolis" exhibition was officially opened in Nogarole, in the province of Verona. The exhibition delves into the history and cultural interactions of an ancient necropolis, shedding light on the complexity and richness of the human connections that have shaped it over time.

We are proud to announce that several members of the MAReA team, working within the framework of the ERC project Ancestors, have made significant contributions to both the bioarcheological study of the necropolis and the creation of the exhibition. Thanks to their work, visitors can embark on a fascinating journey through the stories and artefacts of this ancient community.

The exhibition will be open to the public until 2nd February 2025. Don’t miss it!
